Announcing a new Meetup for Princeton Ski Club!
What: Avoiding Outdoor Emergencies
When: April 21, 2009 7:00 PM

Meetup Description: Our special guest speaker will be Ken Heaphy, Lead Instructor for the Greater Somerset County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Ken has been teaching First Aid and CPR courses for more than 30 years. He is a Disaster Action Team Captain and has served in a wide variety of roles on Disaster Relief Operations. Ken is also a founding father of the National Canoe Safety Patrol and is currently the Commodore and Training Chairman for the Lower Delaware Chapter of the NCSP.
The presentation will focus on giving participants practical knowledge on how to avoid outdoor emergencies, how to prepare for them and how to manage emergencies when they occur.
You are encouraged to ask questions relating to the type of activities you enjoy and situations you think you may encounter.
Prior to Ken's presentation, Uri Goldinger will brief us on the Sailing Program.
