About Westchester Skiers & Riders
Welcome!
Westchester Skiers & Riders was founded during the 05-06 ski season by organizer Tony Pucca to fill the void of ski groups serving the suburban NYC area.
From day one, our mission has been to bring together people who love skiing, snowboarding and all winter sports, regardless of skill level. Our secondary mission has always been to ensure that everyone wanting some friends on the slopes --or a great group to go on an extended trip with-- always has a resource.
With an initial membership of less than 10 winter sports enthusiasts, today Westchester Skiers & Riders ("WS&R") is proud to have over 200 fun members from all parts of the Tri-State area. Our assistant organizers, Brian Blum and Karen Steefel, help me with organizing both long distance and regional trips respectively.
Westchester Skiers & Riders is about the love of skiing & boarding, about getting together with people who feel the same way, and about learning and enjoying the best of winter.
We hope you'll join us.
