We are a Nordic Ski Patrol, and are part of the National Ski Patrol. NSP is most often thought of in conjunction with Alpine Skiing, but there are a small number of patrols at Cross-Country ski areas. To become a patroller requires completing an Outdoor Emergency Care course that is similar to an EMT course, although there is an emphasis on outdoor and wilderness emergency care. This is a bunch of friends and acquaintances that have or want to come skiing with me. I host an annual trip to Mont Tremblant on the last weekend of January / first weekend of February.
